Kim: The Long Way Home

L’histoire, en creux.

Kim: The Long Way Home follows British Red Cross picture editor Kim as she retraces her family's harrowing escape from war-torn Vietnam to Britain in the 1980s. Against a backdrop of recession and anti-immigration sentiment, Kim revisits memories of exile, hostility and the kindness of strangers. Her journey reveals how these experiences shaped her lifelong commitment to seeking justice, challenging stereotypes and championing compassion through the power of photography.
