while I was away

L’histoire, en creux.

‘while I was away' follows a group of four friends spending an ordinary day together, but beneath the laughter and nostalgia, one of them feels increasingly disconnected. As the day unfolds, memories and dreamlike moments blur the line between being surrounded by people and truly feeling present. A short film about friendship, isolation and the quiet distance we can feel, even when we're never physically alone.
