Wyprawa Amundsena

L’histoire, en creux.

In his studio, an illustrator sketches an aviator in an airplane. Suddenly, the plane takes off from the page and flies through a half-open door, soaring over mountains before reaching the North Pole. There, beneath the shimmering aurora borealis, the traveller discovers which chocolate is the best. *Amundsen’s Expedition* is not only one of the few surviving Polish advertisements from the silent film era, but also a unique example of pre-war Polish animation.
